That was a good time. the beg/sport DH corse was fun. fast up top and a little trickey as it goes down. the best part was seeing that old guy at the start on his trek 800, and then some rondome guy with what looked like a cow bell on his bike. it was a fun race though. the rain totally sucked though. made the roots even worse. the rock section was easy if you took the line off the rock between the trees. i only saw like 2 people make the other line cleanly. just those damn roots were a killer on me and then all the mud at the very bottom before the finish. o well those are just some of my thoughs. lates.

i had a awesome time at snow this year. i raced 4x on thur and had a ball! the course was fast fast fast. very hard, and smooth. lots of sweet manuel spots the pro's were taking advantage of. honestly it was the worse race of my life so far. i had to put a foot down at the gate and of course it fell when my foot wasent on the pedel. THEN in the bowl berm i threw a chain cause i need the propper guide. my evil works great but its a DRS and i have no front derailler. ehhh, ill have the correct one soon. it sucks being broke. all in all practice was tits w/ my bro billy ridin too. he got his dh number and put it on his HT. def cool.

my bro Ben and Billy experanced their first nationals and first time at snow. they def had a good time and planning on next year, if norba dosent f**k them selves.

OMG!!!! i wish i got a HT for racing sooner. i loved my Haro escape. even though i was not succesful, i had a awesome day of practice.

my only gripe was it just wasent the same as past few years, but im assuming its because it wasent the finals.

also the number plates sucked my a hole! sucks not to have sobe for a sponsor.

also met a13x and seth, very cool pro's. also saw my boy DHrocker570, and julianBC. DHwreck was pushin his Sic stems, ya know the twisted lookin ones. i gotta get one ASAP! def look foward to their new brake levers and dh stems. they look dope! as expected the Hcor Team was representin, and Gravity Bread racing was representin. HUGE thanks to cycleloftwrench and the guys form NorthEasternCycling for the hook ups w/ the parts and the red bull. my bro who bought the Risse is happier than a pig in shit. best of luck w/ the tab guys, thanks.

the best part of the weekend was rippin on 50's at haystack.

until next year.

A very good time. I laughed, I cried, I pissed, I took many a shit, I lit fires, I swore, I slept.... Well, you get the idea, it was a incredibly cool vibe this year even with the lack of "big money" and supposed professional organization that it has had in the past....

i made the "other line" clean in that one section....

weekend was great.....aside from sliding out in the mud on my race run, ripping my pedal out of my crank....

i also paid for 3 days of parking and there was no one collecting money on the second 2 days, so i got ripped.

results will be posted on usacycling.com; it may take awhile though.

as for me, I placed 1st in the 30-34 beg. DH with a time of 3:14. Not too bad for my first time racing; and dabbing about 5 times. No falls though. The course was nice, good mix of open and woods with roots and rocks mixed in for good measure.
MTNX course was lame IMO. it was fast though and the pros ripped it up good. I still can't believe what NORBA did to the experts on Sat. Why was it o.k. for the experts to race on it and the pros raced the cheater line? Black flies weren't that bad as long as you had bug spray on. I took some pics; I'll post in the galleries section.
