Cool. Was it you who was getting a shock done on one arm?

Here's my newbie question: why don't they do it all (outline and all the colour) in one session?

It takes hours and hours to lay down the detail and thickness in a good peice....this isnt 1 hour picked off the wall peices were doing here. My arm will prob take around 15-20 hours of solid work split up in 5-8 sessions. That outine front and back took a good 2-2 1/2 hours. Note the line thickness of the crown. The color I got last night was done in 2 hours non stop.

When dealing with a full sleeve peice, you want to get your basic lines down and healed so you can go in and deal with color later. You can only sit in the chair for a certain amount of time...the longer you work on a section the more agitated it can get....you want to work with minimal swelling and pain so you work sessions accordingly. When your dealing with amount of work I am, you need to give your arm time to heal in between sessions. Hope that answers your questions.

Ah right, makes sense. So if you do it all at once you can get warped designs n stuff (as well as sitting in a chair for 20hrs nonstop Confused )?
