09/30/2002 The yellow hurts my eyes. White was very subdued yet fast looking.

10/01/2002 My son rides the last SGS here in Australia (back page of catalogue) and he has been rapt in it. The new one seems as good or better. He cannot wait to get his bum on one. Richard Lee richard@walkingclinic.com.au www.rawnrg.com.au

10/02/2002 A contender Looks like I horse may have a major contender in this frame and spec...Good work Todd and crew.. Billy

10/03/2002 kick ass this bike is unmatched as far as parts go in the industry. 5th element on the back and a carbon dorrado on the front plus the frame is cool. I sell ironhorse bikes at the store i work in so i hope i can get my hands on one of these babies. greg herrman jeepstergmh@aol.com

10/06/2002 need to be a non shitty color

10/06/2002 WOW What a piece!!! hahahah the back end is weak, just cause u put a 5th element on doesnt mean ppl are gonna buy em Al

10/07/2002 The specs are hard to beat (some Atomic DHR rims and a Mr. Dirt or MRP would be more to my liking), but the rear end does look kinda flimsy. It would be cool if you offered the frame kit in all the SGS colors instead of just Zonkers Yellow. Anyone who buys this bike be careful with your seat post and the shock reservior... CRUNCH! Bill www.cascadedownhill@hotmail.com www.obra.org

10/13/2002 heh some of these comments are really funny... nice work. a13x http://www.evilbikes.com

10/15/2002 Durability Funny how the line on this bike is durability...Come ride Plattekill for a while and you will see what the east coast has to offer....Ironhorse rules the mountain....rode one for 2yrs and never had a problem with frame durability...As a matter of fact, I have seen many broken bikes(foes, intense) but never a busted horse. As far as the 5th element goes, I dunno bout that... Billy

10/23/2002 This is sick i cant wait till i get one of these ricky

10/30/2002 rad racing spec. really nice. the color is kindof off though. a gun metal grey front triangle would be perfect on this frame. the decals are also a bit to trendy/wannabe for me. they look mismatched and placed randomly as a quick afterthought. another aesthetic thing is that the angles look just weird. just off or something. probably not in actuality but the piccy looks bad. i'm 99% sure that this one is photochopped though. nice spec for sure!!!

10/31/2002 the package it looks the goods, but the rear hasn't changed over the past 3 seasons. i think it needs some fattening up. from experience with previous models the rear develops a fair bit of flex. but on the flipside, i weigh 90kgs+ and i have been smashing my sgs through rocks and drops since 1999. still going strong while a lot of bigger brands have cracked and been turfed. dr oizo

11/03/2002 what a spec!! can't wait to see how much this will be in AUS - the spec is perfection!! spanky chuckrockswell@hotmail.com

11/03/2002 HAHAHA MAN, THE REAR LOOKS LIKE EXTREMELY FLIMSY AND THE YELLOW...AHAHAH!!! BUT OTHER THAN THAT, NICE BIKE... SkunkWorks sknk_so_what@hotmail.com h

11/11/2002 Rider I have ridden the same G-out in New England for 3years and finally broke a derailer hanger. I cant wait to upgrade next month! This bike looks great Bill ktmkidd8@hotmail.com

11/12/2002 i really good bike hello i´m amexican guy ,is a really good bike because i have a SGS of 2001 and broke it in the panamerican contest in 1 , 2 of november 2002, and want the SGS team but know , I have the money but mexico dosen´t have dealer. give me an idea to get a SGS TEAM. THANKS guilermo memoflash@yahoo.com

11/12/2002 Always a few nay sayers...everyone has an opinion! Over all looks like a great year upcoming for the horse. I know I have never had any problems with mine. Cant wait to get my 2003. Good job to the R&D dept on the specs. Thanks for putting XTR back on board. Kris Kataila

11/15/2002 Sign me up! Great parts spec (a Dorado AND a Fifth Element!!), a true 4 bar link, all ready to race! Put me in, on one of these, coach!! Brook

The shock bolts/pivot bolts may be too tight.

Check the bolts, normally with any creaking, things are too loose usually. Was the bike new?
