I realize the frame look the same but sometimes there are differences. Is the frame the same accross the SGS board or are their differences. (if for example I wanted to buy the cheaper model to save some cash now and upgrade as they break).

Btw I don't care about colour Smile

Someone correct me if I am wrong..... The expert, pro and team have
the 1.5 steerer tube and the different linkage for the rear. the pro and
team also use the 12mm thru axle. The travel/shock is also different.
I am not sure if the expert uses the thru axle. The sport is like last
years G-Spot.

I DO know that the expert has 7" and the pro has 8". Also the pro has a 69' headangle, and the expert has 70.5'. Other than that i think its just build. Right?

Nope, the frames are VERY different!

The SGS-Pro uses a downhill race frame with linkage designed by e13 to make optimum use of the Progressive 5th Element shock. Additionally, the Pro has a 100mm bb shell, 165mm x 12mm thru axle rear, 1.5 headtube, and DH race geometry.

The SGS-Expert is a freeride/4x frame with full sealed bearings, new beefier linkage, and 1.5 headtube. This bike can use a frt der while the Pro can't.

How exactly does the linkage differ between the E13 and the FSR between pro and the expert?(besides the use of the rear through-axle) and what is the largest size tire that can fit in the FSR linkage?[/url]

The only thing that I can add is that the bike is plain sweet. It suckes up everything I can give it thus far.

From being a mechanical engineer, I can say this...that the bike is well made and and the details are taken care of with percision. she likes to be ridden, and ridden hard, as if to say "I'm your bitch".

With a spring upgrade for my size is all she needs. The person I bought it from, who is also on this board did me right.

A great bike, and am thrilled I made the right choice!!!
