Does anyone know what the standover height is on the 15" frames? I've checked the brochure and it only has the geometry and the ironhorse website is down right now.

Also, is the frame kit the Expert or Team frame or are both available as frame kits?

Thanks in Advance!

Cheers,
Kristina

Kristina,

I do not know the standover info off the top of my head. As soon as I have something for you I'll post it! The frame kits are only HP-Team's.

Thanks!

Also, I noticed that the specs on the ironhorse website stated the tt to be 21.25 but the specs here say 21.50 for the tt. I hope its 21.50! Do you know for sure which one it is? Confused

Thanks again!

Kristina,

It's 21.5, the small SGS-Sport/Experts are 21.25. Thanks for picking up the error. I'll pass it over to our web guys!

Hey Todd... I also saw that Supergo is listing a different TT on their site than you have on the spec page for the Hollowpoint. Is that b/c they are using the Horizontal TT measurement vs the Actual TT being used on the site? I'm trying to figure out it I can go w/ a 17in for extra standover.
Ideally, I'd want about a 23in (Horizontal)TT.

i'm about to order one since unfortunately no LBS within a 2 hour drive stocks them (zip code 07040).

Getting the Expert.. unless, of course you know where i can find one close to test (i'm not totally sure what size to get)

I looked around alot and everyone keeps pointing me back to the HP...

my bike shop, just got the expert in...i love the bike! But i was noticing that the rear wheel's clearance with the suspension bracket/arm is slim to nil, and thats with the 2.0 Larsens on it. What is the max width tire(2.25?) you can put on this bad boy? Im just waiting for my tax return so i can maybe pick this up, but this could be holding me back, unless you can reassure me that its ok. thanks

Tire clearance on this frame depends on the brand and model of the tire you run. The UST Larsen TT 2.0 has a pretty tall profile and big volume. It rides like a bigger tire b/c of it's volume and great tread pattern. I have personally run this tire on my bike for the past 6+ mos with no issues. I have also run High Rollers, Mobster 2.1s, Hutchinson Pythons, WTB Epic Wolfs, and some other tires that I can't remember off the top of my head. The biggest clearance "issue" on this frame is top clearance not side clearance. There is room in there for some 2.35's on the market. It all depends on the height, casing, and volume.

I am NOT playing fav's here with any IBD's but Campmor in Paramus has a couple in stock. Talk to Mark or Tahir over there and they will get you rolling!
