Must clear rocks:
YeeeeeeHaaaaaaa!:
5 minutes or so farther down the mountain to The Face Shot Drop trail 27: (after a sick speed section to some super tech single-track)

700 vertical later to the Mid Station Drop:
Rider Elias Ingraham (Mid Station Drop)
The Mid Station Drop is new and you can really get some distance on this. I have watched guys get close to 30 feet!:

Champlain. Lake George is about 100 miles south (and damn it, I missed the Elvis impersonator convention AGAIN there this year...)

It's the Atlantic Ocean. Whiteface is HUGE!
We close 1 week after Columbus Day on 10-19-08.
Columbus Day last year was the 2nd busiest day of the year. The Race, Columbus Day & Hcor Day were are 3 busiest days of 2007.
We are open 7 days a week until our 5 K DH on 8-31-08 then Fridays thru Sunday till 10-19.
Bike n Stay mid week is only $69.00 per person and that includes your lift ticket, room and a hot breakfast.
Whiteface is only 45 minutes off the interstate.
We've been busy as the word has gotten out.
See ya at The Face
Here are some more pictures. These were taken just after the last picture in this thread. This is trail # 22 Idiots Delight and is just below mid and after the wooden drop you see at mid:
After the jump there is a speed section for a couple hundred yards or so. Keep your eyes peeled for this sign to 22:
Approaching the start of Idiots Delight:
(this is a short trail but is 100 % single-track)
This picture is quite blurry but I did get 2 riders on Da Berm:
This is the Adirondack Style single-track that Da Berm shoots you into:
Sport level riders will have fun letting it go a bit in here:
These dark trails are nice and cool when it's hot outside:
Just some fun roots near the exit:
The trail ends when you come out on a ski trail and see the sign to 4 or to 9 (9 takes you to 15 Northeast Shore after the woodchip section):
Left to the wood chip road or straight to the waterfalls.
