So i went ahead and got the Obtainium Ti Spring for my RockShox Vivid Check out the difference:

With Stock 350lb Coil

With Obtanium 300lb Ti Spring

Bike now weighs 39.5 Lbs with the Profile Cranks.... lol

Thanks to the Morewood guys for the hook up, and thanks to the Obtainium guys for a quick turnaround on delivering the Ti Spring.

Can't wait to test this baby in Platty/Whiteface/Snowshoe/Highland!

a fox 40 would be best for those who are racers and great riders... i just do this as a hobby, but i don't see the need for a fox40 at all...

my Boxxer team does a great job handling my fat ass!

kinda of a weird statement considering you are getting your bike into race weight by throwing on a $300 spring for a 1lb savings.
