The Windrock DH trail system is located in Oliver Springs, TN as part of the 72,000 acre Coal Creek OHV area. This is a multi-use area for 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, Rock Crawlers, etc. and is open all year.

There is a land use permit required for those visiting Windrock. It is $17.00 a day, $33.00 2 day, or $88.00 yearly. You must purchase one at the Snack Shack as you enter the parking area before you ride.

The DH trail system has been developed and maintained in it's own area apart from motorized vehicles, however we do share the shuttle road with other traffic and the Windmill trail from the top crosses over some multi-use trails, so please use caution.

For those visiting for the first time this year, we've built quite a bit of new trails and features along with some new jumps that should be "checked out" before hitting since many are gaps and they have already caused some bike breakage this year.

There is plenty of lodging and camping available in nearby Oak Ridge and the surrounding area. A new Windrock campground is near completion and should be open some time in May. It will provide primative camping, full RV hookups, and showers. Small cabins are also being built and will be available for rental. We are also developing a cross country trail just up the road which is coming along quickly and can already be ridden.
