Hcor.net Forum Index -> Northeast -> Night Race-Darkness at 909       View previous topic :: View next topic  Night Race-Darkness at 909 Posted: Wed Oct 03, 2007 6:52 pm Bawitdaba Tagger   Joined: May 02, 2006 Posts: 41 Location: Pine Plains, NY Saturday October 2th Taconic-Hereford Sate Park, Multiple Use Area 909, Pleasant Valley, NY Registration: Register at the event between 5:00-6:30pm Race will be run with Time Trial starts begining at 7:00pm Fee: $20.00 ASTM or SNELL approved helmet and good 5 watt minimum light with at least one and a half hour burn time are required. A back-up headlight and a tail light are recommended. Course: 9 mile loop of single track, fire roads, short power climbs. It's challenging, but safe for night riding. Costume Contest for all racers! Directions: Just off the Taconic State Parkway in Pleasant Valley, NY. Take Tyrrel road off the Parkway and follow the signs.
