Does this event require that you hold a yearly license to race anything above Sport? Can you get a one day license to race Expert?

According to USA Cycling, you have to have an annual license to race expert, and on top of that, you have to have results to show that you qualify for expert (ie, three top 3 finishes or five top five in classes of 10 + racers).
We will be set up at the mountain to sell NORBA licenses.
I will be calling U.S.A.C this week to make sure we have everything.
1 year license $60.00.
So we will be selling 1 day licenses to all the race sport or beginner.
Pros will already have their license from NORBA or U.C.I. or could but them at the mountain.

Sure thing just make the check payable to Downhill Mike.
And Vernonrider we'll see ya at the face.
We are very different from Diablo. We have some wood features but for the most part we have "old school" downhill runs.
Very loamy soil with tons of roots and rocks. We have added some nice berms this year too, but it's a big mountain and mostly natural.
I'm sure you'll have a blast and love the long runs!

Last year practice was opento all at all times. Take as many as Your brakes will allow.
Mike, Will directions for the Oct course be available Labor day weekend. It might help attendance for that race.
Are You gonna race this Year? JIm Mac so needs someone He can beat.

* The race course is open now so come on up and practice any day from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm.
* Open practice from now till Saturday at 4:00 pm.
* We just found out last week that the October race is canceled. We want to have another event that weekend. We are working on that now.
* If you check www.downhillmike.com I added a page just for our 5 K DH race. A complete schedule and break down of the pro cash payout will be on there by Monday night (8-20-07).
* I can't race the 5 K DH but Jim should be able to beat you?
* There will be 1 course this year for all classes.
* Open practice all days except on Sunday (race day).
p.s. Early registration will help out the timer and make race weekend efficient. If you know you are going to race please register online and asap to help us accommodate everyone as quickly as possible.

I assume that means the Whiteface River Otter Classic is the race being cancelled. How does that affect the ECCC races, "The Northeastern Lake Placid Columbia Day Challenge" which are scheduled for XC, DS STXC and DH on that weekend?

The E.C.C.C. races are looking for another venue.
We are extremely bummed and have been planning this since January.
ORDA is only allowing us to host 1 race THIS YEAR.
tHE 5 K DH on 9-2-07 which is part of the Gravity Series.

Hey mike.
The entry fee for this race is cheap. Does it include a 2 day lift ticket like other races?
