This local 13 year old kid has challenged me to a dh race. At 4:00 pm on Saturday 9-1-07 (practice day for the 5 K DH) i will race this kid down our race course. Rules: must use your own bike and no crying to your mommy after you lose! Should be interesting: a 45 year old against a 13 year old kid. No way this kid can beat me down Whiteface! Cool idea. Now I can win a race and make $75.00. I'll be a good sport and will take you guys out for ice cream after the race with my new found money. Just joking you still have to use your bike. Some factors to consider: A 45 year old will probably have a better bike but may have bad shoulders, knees, etc. Between my old injuries and your brothers $300.00 bike, this race will be interesting. I will still win by at least 1 minute but it will make it interesting. Your turn K.C.
