Tape goo removal

Anyone have any good products/tecniques for removing tape residue from a helmet? Spit? Urine? Wishing it away? Other ideas?

Start with warm water and mild to light soap. It may take a while but thats probably the safest idea I know of. If not, maybe coke. If that doesn't work try rubbing a fresh slice of orange over it a few times. If all else fails you could check out a paint shop or art supply store and see what is a good degreaser thats not going to damage plastic. www.coastairbrush.com may have something along those lines. good luck!

1 goat testicle, the eye of a bat, 4 grams of basil, a smelly sneaker. Boil for 3 hrs.....


Goo gone works good, and shouldn't harm plastic... but dont use goof off, that will melt it.

nail polish remover, rubbing alcohol, or any type of acetone will work... it will get it off and once its out of the bottle it will dry fairly quickly so you but just becareful of open flame haha... but it works
