Posted: Sat Feb 24, 2007 8:21 pm atom Team Hcor.net   Joined: Sep 7, 2002 Posts: 3808 Location: Strong Island, NY i love all types of music. but tool is just one of those bands that i cannot get into. the music is decent, but i cant take the way maynard sings. my girl loves them. they are her fav. band. we went to see em at the garden. i have to say that they definetly put on one of the worst performances. however, the crowd was nuts and sang along to every song. yay for the crowd keeping it interesting. ive heard maynard gets anxiety on stage so he usually faces away from the crowd and stands way back... which he did. but the guitar and bassist didnt move either. they even busted our stools at one point so they didnt even have to stand. i guess stage performance isnt all that important, buts its cool to see the band into playing and having a good time. some other "loved" bands from a few different genres that i just cannot get into: pearl jam, aerosmith, aesop rock, shadows fall, taking back sunday, obituary and dropkick murphys. _________________ peace love and harmony. I love Tool. They one of my favorite bands. Yeah their live performances aren't as good as some of the other ones I go to but I go to hear the music. Adam Jones is awesome on guitar and plays a kick ass gibson too. Jones is probably the most talented member of the band. Was a concert violinist and is also a special affects artist - he sculpted the spraying dinosaurs in Jurasic Park and worked on Freddy vs Jason. _________________ I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it.
