Matisyahu- Live at Stubbs
and-
Citizen Cope- The Clarence Greenwood project.

Matisyahu is a Hasidic Jew that sings Regaee. When you hear him, you'd think he's Jamacan. When you see him, you think it's a joke. A couple really good tunes on this disc. King without a crown, Heights, Lord raise me up, and Aish Tamid. 4-5

Citizen Cope is a singer/songwriter that put this awesome disc together that contains some relaxed rock. The tunes have power, but with his relaxed, dragged out voice, it adds a feel of I-don't-give-a-f**k. Though relaxing to listen to, the tunes can be motivational too. You can move to the up front beat. The whole disc is great, with my preference to skip song 1, Nite Becomes Day and 8, D'Artagnan's Theme. Bullet and a target is the big hit off this disc. 5-5

yep...

Got engaged to my old lady after seeing Citizen Cope. Saw him at the Tin Angel in Philly. Small intimate setting of about 50 people. Just him and a guitar standing 5 feet in front of us. Real good time, his music really works the ladies up.

one must admit, Matisyahu's new album, "Youth" or whatever, is garbage. one good track on the whole thing - damn shame.
