They're a start. One thing to keep in mind though, is that you need to have a real subject that is obvious in the photo. Otherwise it will end up being a photo of nothing. A second bit of advice is to start experimenting with the subject's position in the frame. A good guidline is to try to use the rule of thirds. What you do is that you divide the frame up into 3 both vertically and horizontally. In your frame there will be four line intersections. These intersections are a good place to start looking to place the subject. Also, start looking on the www.popphoto.com/ forums. Try asking people over there for critiques or read their critiques of other people's photos. It helps.

I'm really digging that one of the tire. You dont always need a subject, pictures of nothing in particular are awesome, I love being able to get lost in a picture. That one of the red house thing is kinda blurry. What are you using for a camera?

Im just using my moms Sony cybershot its like 5.1 mega pixels or something. The one of the shed came out blurry but it still looks sweet, i tried to get a goood pic but non of them were as good.
