I have been looking at dual suspension bikes for about a month now and have tried everything from Giant to Specialized. I finally found a brand new Sinister Sport at Dicks Sporting Goods and scooped it up.
It appears to be very well built and a smokin' bike for the price but after talking to the other vendors in my area they seem to think the bike is worthless (I thought it looked nicer and rode much better than Giants' entry level DS). Not a big confidence booster so I thought I would come here and ask the people who have real world experience with the bike.
Just for reference I will be using the bike on pavement and gravel only.
Many thanks in advance!

Thanks for the input.
However I still would like to hear from others (hopefully less retarded individuals than the two previous replies).
Thanks again

Teddy,
I apologize, I somehow thought you were being a smart a$$.
The bike is made by Iron Horse and is very similar to the other Sinister models although I am sure corners were cut in some component areas to save cost. The bike retailed for around $600.00 and I scored it for $399.00. May not be the best in the world but fit my budget and seems to be well built.

Well, in absence of other riders' input I will post my satisfaction level after having put mucho miles on it this weekend.
Rode very well. Performed flawlessly other than it threw a chain one time. A quick turn of the outer stop screw and problem solved. Handled minor/medium bumps and dips quite well and did an excellent job of not transferring the impact to the rider.
My neighbor rode it and said it was much more plush and performed better than his Motobecane 700 (I thought so too but didn't want to hurt his feelings).
So to sum it up, in my very brief affair with the bike I give it a BIG thumbs up and would recommend it to those who are on a tight budget.
