No but I could. I get them at dealer invoice cost. Haha.
just buy a 2.5 rs 2 dr, and put a supercharger and intercooler on it and it will be faster and lighter than an sti!

bullshit!
I have an 02' WRX, Cobb Stage 3 ecu, VF22 Turbo, all perin exhaust, etc etc... as fast as an STi.. maybe a tad faster.. but nothing crazy. My buddy gets the ~same type of lap times as me @ road atlanta and our skill levels are pretty equal. I can take him in the Panoz school cars though
To answer the question. No, no regrets what so ever.. i wish the spark plugs where a little easier to get to...... other than that. Its a great little car. Mine is for sale (onto bigger and better things). In its stock form, its a great car, in its hopped up form... its even better.
Can't beat the sound of the engine either. Mitsu's are nice, the trannys are glass though. Mitsu customer service is doodoo at the dealers in the Atlanta area, a couple of my friends have EVO's. They love the car, but complain about pretty much everything except the engine/perfomance. The fit and finish is crap compared to the subaru.. and subaru is far from a BMW... so anything worse is pretty bad.
PM or e-mail me if you have any questions.

lol, whats up dude!
Long time never talk to.. (wow that was ghey)
I had a "turn of events" in the J O B dept. I had a scare recently (lay-off's) that caused me to want to sell the WRX... turns out, I don't need to. But it got me thinkin, now I want something all motor again. Tired of oil eating turbos.
wth did you end up buying? I know we talked about it forever and a day...

I didnt say that you couldnt make a stock WRX as fast or faster than an STi, I said you can make a 2.5RS, faster than an Sti... I know because one of my best friend's 2.5rs is taking STi's quite nicely, I wouldnt say he is killing them, but lets just say his car has same gains on the Sti's around these parts...

WRX's are overpriced and cheap looking, bottom line. The interior in them is one of the worst I've ever seen and the boxer engine sounds like ass w/ exhaust. There's alot better cars out for the money but if you if they're your thing then go ahead but if you're picky about cars go with a MB C230 sedan.

Go w/ a VW R32, I love and hate my VW. I heard the tranny on the STI was poo, but don't know for sure. I like the Sti but the R32 is one nice lookin car!! needs brake upgrade to keep up w/ the Sti though
