For those of you who haven't been up in a while, there has been plenty off work going on in the trail building department.
There is a trail called fatcrobat that is pure love. Amazing whoopy single track with some gnarly root sections, rock rides, and a fun log ride section. There is also too tight, which starts off off expressway just above mid mountain and spits you out right at the top of the fitz chairt. More fairly non-technical but incredibly flowy single track through tight trees. hmmmm, daddy likes. Then there is the angry pirate, which starts at the very top off the traverse to dirt merchant and basically parallels crabapple in the woods to the big intersection with a line. I don't know if i have ever ridden a trail with flow like this! More mostly non-technical singletrack through tight trees, but you pump whoops the whole way down and hit these sweet steep and sharp yet beautifully burmed turns. for everyone coming out next summer, you will be in for a treat!!!!!

Is the new shit all brake-bumped out like the old trails?
Currently my only bike is a hardtail with a 2.5" fork and 24" wheels, so I wanna know if it's worth it to head up next weekend...

Yeah Whistler has built some great new trails. Fatcrobat was super fun with great diversity in terrain. Roscifer pretty much sums up what I'm feeling about the new trails. Angry Pirate is super flow.

The new stuff is in good condition but it's steep and rooty toot totty in sections a 2.5" fork with 24" wheels will be hella tough to ride. I'll bring the video camera to capture all the crash footage.
