Just a reminder, although anyone in the area probably already knows. Should be in prime shape when you lucky east coasters make the journey over here.

By prime shape you mean "beat to shit like it always is after the 2nd week" right?

Not that it isn't still fun as hell...

I was meaning that all the trails should be open by that time. Just imagine how nice it was if people didn't skid the corners. there are berms for crying out loud!

That's almost as insane as imagining that tourists on rented hybrids would actually realise that the sign with the black diamonds and the "WARNING EXPERTS ONLY" and such on it meant that they probably shouldn't go down that trail because they'll just get in everyone's way.

We shouldn't have to worry about beginners on expert trails this year, because b-line is becoming a mini a-line, so they will be able to progress Rolling Eyes Laughing

oh yeah, countdown now at less then 24 hours. woo hoo, no more 100 cars in the parking lot at the woodlot with everyone riding 1 trail!

I'm counting down until whenever it is (the 22nd?) when they open on weekdays. My having no job and no school is going to pay off.

while I'd like to think a mini-aline with keep the gorbo's off the real a-line, I wouldn't hold your breath....stuff like the lamo ramp at the start of dirt merchant makes the idjits think it's gonna be an easy trail......I still can't believe I passed a guy on the first sweeper corner there who was on a commuter bike with pannier racks skidding already.....too brutal.....

Explain lamo ramp on dirt merchant? I don't remember a ramp...

What shape is everything in up there anyway? I really don't wanna build up my squish bike, so could I get away with the hardtail, dual 24s, 2" fork and bald rear tire, or are the braking bumps already out in full force?

I really should probably just build up the stupid brodie...Confused

half way through the season tehy put a ramp at the start of DM over that techy rooty section.....which resulted in more lamo newbs than ever thinking they'd be able to ride DM.....I got burnt so many times by speed shedding morons that shouldn't have been on that trail because of that dumbass bridge..... Arrow Mad as for conditions....I'm back in ONT till sunday and missed this past weekend, but opening was stellar, DM was still under snow though and not open yet, although now she's probably being shredded......

Ahaha you may have just killed me.
I'm really tempted to just ride my little bike if it's all in good shape up there...

Hey Mark (MW) and I, plus others will be up this weekend for my stag. Will you be out? By the way... did I ride with you at Cypress a few weeks ago with IAn and Aaron a bunch of others? I lamed out after the first run due to my shitty thumb.
