Is that with or without the custom-fitted chain stay protector Rolling Eyes
I was quite surprised to see something like that come with the frame -- the website doesn't show it.

I was wanting to start a thread like this. I'm going to move this to the tech section and add more than just frame weights, forks too

that's nearly 2 full pounds more than other Shiver weights I've heard, non-manufacterer numbers at that. I think BMXman said 8.4 lbs with proper oil height....

I'll put mine on a scale next week and see what gives.

What's the deal with the Nicolai? 14.55 lbs... Confused That's AT LEAST 3 pounds more than what I was expecting...unless it includes the hub weight?

That would make it Demo9-heavy... People were bitching about the Demo9 weight but don't seem to care about the weight of the Lambda. I'm confused...

I will check my numbers tonight. I don't have the fork anymore but I do have the weight wrote down at home. That was with proper oil height too.

that's most likely because basically, the only people riding the lambada over here are on nicolai-sponsored teams. Of course there are a handful of other individual owners, but the number is REALLY low, especially when considering the distribution of something like the demo 9.

think about this, when was the last time you saw a lambada out & about?
heh

Everyone pegs it as some big dumb hucker bike. It was designed by FTW to win races. With the new (R10) geometry tweeks it'll be even faster.

I'm pretty sure mine will come in around 40 pounds.

Complete team spec bikes are 43 with the 888.

Mine complete is 19.8 kilos / 43.6 pounds. My frame with Avalanche, FSA Pig and the backplate of an Evil guide is ~ 13 pounds.

(now I better leave, before it get's too nerdy) Wink
