I've heard through the grapevine that Sping Mt. is done and this is the last time we will have to ride bikes down the hill! Last race EVER at Spring. :( Posted: Sat Nov 08, 2003 1:56 am serb All-City   Joined: Jan 16, 2003 Posts: 1194 Location: In the woods in PA I have no cash as well cause I am in the midst of saving for a house in 2090, well hopefully closer...but Jay always put forth 100% effort into everything, sacrificing many things and that sucks if it is the last race - but who is to blame him since I know that 99.9% of the people in the area could not do what he has done with the small support. I have pitched in whenever I could and I was there back when they made that dual course in one day....10 hrs for me and at least 16 for him that day with many others. bignate All-City   Joined: Dec 04, 2003 Posts: 561 Location: coatesville, pa I was riding with Jay the last couple freeride days there and said that it is true that Spring mountain's races are over, but you will be able to ride there again. next year at least there will be freeride days from time to time. So you will be able to ride there again, just not race. correction, nothing this season
