Hey Taz, there seems to be an issue with 2 things in the Expert 40+ (old guys!) group. First, the last Wisp race we were all included in the 30-39 group for some reason? And specifically for me, on the points standings you just posted, I am listed twice (Nick Fortune). Can you please fix and let me know? Thanks man! Can't wait to Platty!

Thanks Taz, I know it was a lot of work, but there's also an issue in the JrX Class Race #3... the rider now shown as the winner of the JrX class actually is a sport rider and finished the course 11+ seconds behind the JrX winner. He was not shown in the class on the prev. standings that You did. There is no winner listed for race #3 Sport Junior so I guess He belongs there and the JrX racers all need to be moved up a place in the points.

Here's the old: http://www.derailedonline.com/files/gravity_east_series_standings_20070905.pdf

Here's the new: http://www.derailedonline.com/files/gravity_east_series_standings_20071010.pdf

Here's the official:
http://www.usacycling.org/results/index.php?permit=2007-1445

Hope this helps..

Thanks again for taking on the job from all of Us. I offer My help next year if Your still doing it.

George

We have had more problems with the race from Diablo than you can possibly imagine! I will look into it tomorrow. It's late and I got to get up early tomorrow to pack and fly out for the race this weekend.

It looks like he seperated you all out from the 30-39 category and into the 40+ on his spreadsheet, as opposed to the WISP one.

Another question, though - you have to do 5 races, correct? You could be ahead in points, but without the 5 you're not in the running?

Thanks again for your work on this! - Jim

There is no minimum to be considered in the running for overall prizes. But the best five races will be counted in the total.... as soon as I can figure out how to make excel do what I want it to do, haha.

Thanks for the info. One more dumb question and I'll stop: what's the difference between the Total and the Series Total on the spreadsheet?

I accidentally uploaded a version with the "series total" that doesn't work. So just neglect it for now.

I just removed that column to eliminate confusion.

Regarding Race # 3 JRX will be fixed. The rider shown as the winner is actually a JRX rider that was in SPTJR incorrectly originally(note race #1 he is in JRX) but he should be shown in 4th place not first and everyone in SPTJR will be moved up one spot.

For the finals - is the prizes/payout for the top 3 or top 5 in expert class?

Just wondering if I should hang out for the awards since I'm in the top 5 but don't have a chance to jump into the top 3.

Thanks

Dieter knows more about the prize situation than I do, but I do believe it is going 5 deep. Maybe he will see this and respond. I am sitting on a plane right now about to leave for Newark to meet Dieter and head up to Platty. See ya there!!!
