Roots, rocks, switchbacks, loamy soil that soaks up the rain and some new features. Olympic village and more stuff to do for non bikers than I can write. It's looking like I'll have 8 or more tents set up here tonight for free camping. Still room for way more tents. It's also sounding like we will have a record size crowd here tomorrow for HCOR day. So come on up and check it out! I usually can't write free beer, but Free beer at the after dh party. Location tba at the mountain. We actually had more people riding yesterday than on race day last year! The weather was perfect. Probably 65 degrees and sunny. It's funny about opening day you know who'll be there. We saw all the usual faces + many more. There must be 10 tents set up around my cabin. Very cool! Taz, thank you and your site is great for not only info and getting the word out about places, but bringing mountain bikers together. HCOR night report: Lots of people and 4 dogs? Lots of beer and even a 2:00 am cook all the burgers you have left session. Usually it's the riding I do that makes me feel younger, but last night I finally partied like I used to. Kind of hungover but man was last night fun. With that being said I am wondering if this is even making any sense?
