My M6 is creaking like Killermike's bikes.

I know it is in the linkage, I was going to try anti-seize on all of the parts anyone ever try that? any other suggestions?

Mine creaks when it is dry. The only thing I haven't tried is antiseizing the outside of the bearings where they press in. If you spray some penetrating oil on all pivots it will go away for a while.

Manitou sucks and they didn't have any bushings for my bike in stock. Maybe if they made them to last more than 3 months I wouldn't have a problem. Don't knock the oil till you try it. What difference does it make which lube you use, just as long as it works. I have tried many things and that is the only way it will stop. If you find another way to make the creak go away let me know, I would like to be done with it too.

Finish Line Teflon spray works really well. We always used that in the shop with great success

I always thought pam's only use was spraying it into a plastic bag and then huffing the fumes?

I ended up taking the shit apart and just greasing the parts. No noise.

I'm not a fan of spraying anyhting anywhere. One exception, I spray load onto socks and toothbrushes at Delta house

What grease did you use? Did you do the outside of the bearings?

You should have sprayed it with explosive diarrhea.

OMG - u guys rubbed off on me.

(Now who can I rub off on?)

I SAID 'RUB OFF', DO I MEAN RUB 1 OUT?

I was being feces-cious - PAM is only for chains that are installed upside down.

No motha fucka, I put the grease on the linkage bolt. Why would I lube the outside of the bearing? it is sealed. When you butt f**k little boys do you lube up your scabby boner or lube up your belly?

I have lubed the bolt too and still have the creaking. I was saying did you lube the outer shell of the bearing where it presses in the linkage you pedophile.
