1st weekend of riding this season. 1st drop I hit was the one in the middle of the race course - loose, rocky downhill leading into it and the go-arounds looked even more unfriendly.

On Saturday, I hit it slow and landed kind of squirrely. On Sunday, I figured I'd hit it rolling a little faster. That was a mistake. Got bucked on the landing and tossed into the rocks on the right, absorbing the impact with my ribs just next to the spine protector, and my thigh. Now I'm walking around work today looking like I had a stroke that affected the right side of my body. Hurts to breathe or cough.

Man, I hit pretty much everything else there, but that drop is sketchy. Were people actually nailing that in the race a week ago?

You better stop hanging out with delta house. They will make you fat and ride really slow. Oh, and crash a lot on stupid stuff. Soon you will go up there and ride 2 runs on the weekend and just drink the rest away.

Just wondering if every course is going to be similiar. I definately thought the course was dope the weekend before with the left loose line. Hit the drop for the race of course, but if I could make a suggestion. Make the courses a little friendlier to platty weather. Race course should truly be skill, endurance, and speed. The drops are fun, no doubt, why did you guys take the left line out? Hate to sound harsh man, but races should reflect who's the fastest not who has the most luck on a " huck ".

you do have a point, but the first drop really isnt that big of a "huck"...plus you could always take the Jim M line on the right.
and if every course was friendlier to the weather up there, we would be riding the bunny slope all the time. you think a National race or any other major event designs the tracks around the predicted weather for said place?
and you needed skill, speed and endurance for the last course...everything you asked for!

I actually suggested the left like be taken out. this course had just about everything. If you didn't practice the left line I doubt you would have complained about it not being there come race weekend. The left line was gonna cause some trouble with the speeds of the top pros and the fast jrx's as there was a tree right after it. I have no trouble with drops in a race course,as long as there is a jim m line

the left line was taken out because just about anyone could hit the smaller drop. The was a big time penalty, if you took the go around. and you should be penalized for not doing the drop. I think they made the right call, by shuttingdown the smaller drop line.

let's not forget that the Jim M. line could alternately be called the "ulmeraround" as well.
