hm i am not familar with those at all... are they full leaf springs all around? i say the cheapest bet if its all leaf springs would be.. a block in the rear,, new leafs up front.

mmmm bj70,,,
I'd go with a full OME (old man emu) suspension setup all the way around. you'll get more travel, a bit of lift and a better ride than stock. Best setup you can buy.
Plus they're made in OZ so im pretty sure they'd have some distributors in NZ....

You could ghetto body lift and get a couple hockey pucks for each of the body mounts. Should give you about an inch a puck.

When you lift the truck, you increase travel. If you do not swap shocks, you will create a stress point in the suspension that will fail at a time that you will find to be very inconvienient. I have built many 4WD. My advice to you:
Blocks are only ok in the back.
Know your axel angles. You will eat Ujoints if you go to radical.
For non leaf spring front ends, geometery correction is a must.
Brake lines are finite. Oh, so are wiring harness.
Energy suspensions, Explorer procomp and Ranco all make exellent products that are bolt on and all the engineering is done.

You could body lift....

Incorrect.
In a bracketed IFS lift, you will not gain travel.
BLOCKS, will not gain you travel.
A BODY LIFT will not gain you travel (do NOT use hockey pucks)
Heavily arched SPRINGS will not give you travel.

The only thing that will give you more travel is a linked suspension with coils/coilovers, or nice soft flat springs. A spring with huge arch will not render much travel.
Also, longer shackles will give more travel (To a point).
Post pics of the 70 when you're done...
Oh, and i agree with the rest of your stuff, but energy makes bushings and such (good) procomp has OK springs (not great) and Rancho's are only good on fullsize's (too heavy valving)....
