Well I recieved my Pitster Pro on Friday morning. Assembly was a snap, no issues, took about 30-40 minutes. Crate was super sturdy, you can see it in the bg of the one pic. Oil,.gas, Kick....started up after about 5 kicks with choke then ran perfectly thereafter. After playing around on it for an hour or so. I changed the oil and rode off and on all day long on our two mini tracks here in NJ.

First off, motor is very strong. The bike was pulling harder than any of my bro's bikes and they all ride full BBR setups. It can be tough keeping that front end down coming strong out of turns. Going through the gears was smooth and after adjusting the preload and sag on the rear shock the suspension was feeling real good too. Fork was very smooth and felt damn good for a stock unit. The clamp has moveable bar posts which allows a ton of adjustment of the handlebars front to back...this is great as moving it forward a few notches really opened up the cockpit for me. Neutral is tricky to find....but not too bad. The clutch is smooth as can be as well. Brakes worked flawlessly and had good stopping power when needed.

The bike looks amazing as you can see in the pics. My buddies all ride $8k bikes and they couldnt believe how well this bike looked and performed at the price that it is being offered at. I think I helped sell a motor or two today to throw into a bbr perimeter frame...hehe. They def get up and go. All that remains to be seen is reliability over time. Ive only heard good things from the guys racing them so hopefully this is the case for me. I ripped the tracks all day today without an issue and had a blast.

I personally think this bike is an amazing deal for under the $2k mark. Strong, fast, and ready to rock right out of the crate. So far I give the 06 Pitster a solid two thumbs up. Vince at Tbolt is also very much behind the product and has been in contact with me multiple times already since I got the bike. The support is there, and that is a huge bonus. I'll keep everyone posted as I put the bike to the test from here on out.

Update:
So far so good.....bike is working well. Although I am trying to take it easy as my shoulder is still jacked, I get a bit stoked and start ripping until I cant hold on anymore. So far....my casualties are only one broken plastic tab, and a snapped clutch lever. I will be replacing the stock peg mounts and pegs very soon just to be safe.

Bike out of the box is a tad tall for my tastes....and trying to hang in the turns with Lars on his sick BBR 88 with a +5" swingarm is forcing me get my bike dialed. There are like a million aftermarket extended swingarms to fit these bikes....but none yet with the rear disc brake tab setup I have (Pitster, SDG, Thumpstar. Etc). There are a few coming out very shortly and Im lucky enough to be a Pitster Pro test guy...so hopefully Ill have a proto extended swinger to test soon! In the meantime...I have a shorter eye to eye Romic shock coming. This 9.5" will replace the stiff stock 10.7". This should not only lower the bike a bit, but also soften it up as well and improve the handling 10 fold. I have plenty of room on the fork to adjust and level. More updates to come after I get it all setup and tested.

They are in the weight range of 130-140lbs. Mine puts out around 8hp stock, which is enough to put the front wheel in the air in almost any gear. It def has snot. These bikes are tall stock...so prob be good for you out of the box. You can always make some easy changes to fit your size and style...adj forks, change bars, etc.

Anybody who decides they want one let me know....I can get you a special price through our US importer.

Sweet. You might have to make it to Michigan this winter to ride indoor MX with us. I ride my SDG with the 50cc kids and then on my 250F with the big boys so I can get the most riding each day. They break everyone up into 10-15 minute sessions so you get twice the riding when you got a 50.

Did u get the 125 or the 70- which would u recommend- I noticed that the 125 is only like 2 grand which is super cheap for a 125.

I have the 125....and since this post I have had the rear suspension done. This thing is amazing now.

End result is an extremely stable, compliant, and perfect handling machine. Feels more like a big bike than a mini in the rear. Suspension mods resulted in a much more progressive rate of travel. Ride height is on the money and you can see the difference from the stinkbugged stock setup. I couldnt be happier with its performance.

Work done by KPS
Elka mini shock with 350lb Romic Spring
Extended stock swingarm....welds are on point.
Rotated swingarm shock mount back and down.
Relocated frame shock mount down frame a couple inches.
Custom frabricated peg bar mount - lowers and widens foot position for more knee/leg room and a more stable stance.
