Ok, im looking into getting a new camera, and i was looking at a Nikon 35mm N55. I cant afford a digital camera so i was thinking of just going with a 35mm. How would this camera be for taking, action shots of biking, and just regular old photos.

N55 is a good entry level 35mm, and it will take good action shots as long as you choose your film wisely. Budget for a hotshoe flash because the little built in won't get the job done in the woods. You'll get ok autofocus and good metering which are important as well. I'd recommend either getting a good prime lens (50mm f1.Cool and learning to work that or going with a zoom in the range of 28-70. I shoot almost all zooms except for the fisheyes because they offer more flexablity but if you're on a budget good primes can be had for short money in the used case at most camera stores!

My nikkor 50mm f1.4 is sex. I should use it more often.
