probably sticking with the 32's for a little while then going up to 33's maybe more .... Im adding a body lift. suspension is too pricey. This is just my fun vehicle, and Im trying to stop myself from putting so much money into it.

Should have some pics in a few weeks.

the runningbaord out our truck is slightly bent, thanks to some rather big rock and not enough lift

not much changed lately since the hydrolockin incident... she seems to be running ok now, but im looking more and more into doing the 5.0 swap now...

Here are some pics with Add A Leafs added on, a little more cranking of the torsion bars, removed pinstripe, removed running boards... and thats it I guess... went back to stock tails to get through inspection, but wound up failing for the tires sticking out too far Sad

holy crap they failed you on the tires?? Those aren't even wide by any stretch. Do they pass you if you get fenderflares? Here you can have the tires wide and as long as the fender flares go out to match then you are fine...those picky bastards

Thats jersey for you, those tires dont even look like they stick out much at all. You just need to find a garage that the owner has a lifted 4x4... he'll hook you up... thats what I did for my rig, no fender flares needed.

yea, they stick out about a half inch from the fender... its quite ridiculous...

I was considering cutting apart an old tire and zip tying it to my fender well as a super ghetto flare... We'll see though because im pretty frickin lazy.. might just drive around with the rejected sticker until they hassle me about it.

Holy crap, if they failed you for tires, I'm f'd.

No mud flaps, no fender wells, no license plate light, not SMOG legal fuel system, windshield obstruction, illegal steering, no DOT approved seatbelts, the list goes on.

sounds like you need to find a private inspection garage to "hook you up". I also live in New Jersey, where for some reason, everything is 20 times more strict then anywhere else...

dh devil - he's building a fully custom Ranger Prerunner..... he has a thread going in other hobbies with all his updates. Cool

those aren't stock wheels on there... if you still have the stock wheels/tires, throw those back on like you did the tail lights...

oh, and you mentioned Paragon in one of your early posts in this thread, my friend went there, said it was awesome, i wanna get there sometime

Those are rims off of an 03 explorer, and the backspacing is different, so I have to run adapters with them... Im too lazy to take the adapters off though ...lol

Yeah Paragon is pretty much the east coast mecca for off roading.
