They live
Countdown to oblivion
Left for dead
Ox Baker
Holding on
R.A.M.B.O (hey they even talk about bikes in their songs, not freeride or whatever, just how they are better than cars...and they are!)

Other recommendations with similar sounds to NYC HC?
Mine are Sick of it All, Strife, Judge, Killing Time, Stigmata, One King Down, Section 8, Leeway, Starkweather, Integrity, Earth Crisis, Outspoken (The Current), Dog eat Dog...
At 32 I have a tough time knowing what new school HC bands sound like the old school since the old scholl bands aren't around anymore. The closest new band that sounds like old school is Hatebreed.
Any other new school bands that sound similar?
Don't include metal or bands that sound like Killswitch, they are metal. Any bands with little guitar licks reminiscent to Iron Maiden are metal, including Slayer.
Thanks

Here's a few off the top of my head. They're more underground than what's listed and are probably a lot more raw sounding:
Cut The Shit
Jerry's Kids (early stuff)
Negative Approach
Dropdead
JBA
Bastard
Poison Idea
Tragedy
