Alright, so WTF, i thouhgt i knew all this genre bullcrap, then yesterday, i'm informed what EMO actually is. I always though TBS, Used, Thursday, Brand New, etc were EMO, it's OK, i'll listen to it. Yesterday i find out from, lets call them EMOHOMO, or EH for short that that is NOT EMO. Then EH went on to play some EMO for me, piano, slow, "i want to commit suicide" lyrics, when all the songs from different bands have the same piano riff. I'm like, WTF is this? This isn't EMO, find out i'm wrong. "The Starting Line"??? geez i dont want to kill myself listening to this shit.
What kind of fuckign sub-genre's are there for EMO?> Geez what the hell is with music these days, they say rap and rock and roll make people wanna kill/fight, no way man, it's EMO.

I saw the starting line open for someone like 3 years ago, and they were playing that choreographed-jumping, "pop-punk" shit. I covered my ears and ran out of the room, but the flood of people to the doors was so thick that it took half their set to get out, so I had to listen to their bullshit.
Now they're playing stuff with pianos? I guess that's the trendy radness, so for some reason it doesn't suprise me.
I guess there's "screamo" which apparently is like Thursday (another completely shitty band) and stuff.

speaking of Piano though, latelyI have got on a Fiona Apple/Tori Amos kick lately. I'm a sucker for piano music, guess cause I once played the piano. That and Fiona has a cool voice.

I can't stand them. I've only heard like, one song in a Props video, and I actually fastforward the part all the time, despite it having good riding. I also saw them live a few years ago, and I hate choreographed jumping.

you can always mute - most of these Bmx or MTB videos are laced with shitty rockNroll - one has no choice but to mute

Aahahahh, f**k no.
Two different types of shit is what i'm trying to say. I thought they were teh same type of shit, but one of them is laced with undigested corn and the other has a green hue to it.
