I'm thinking about getting a sgs DH 03 frame.
I noticed that the rear shock size is 8.75x2.75, and the the shock size for a sgs FR is 8.5 x2.5. If I get a 8.5 x 2.5 shock, will the only drawback be a lower BB height and one less inch of travel? (which i might actually like since it lowers the center of gravity)
or will this mess with the leverage too much? could someone explain this whole leverage thing too?

You will loose travel in the rear if you go with a shorter shock and it will lower and slacken the bike.
