Not really into them, but I wished I still had my Hutch Trickstar from the mid 80s. I also had a Haro Master that was a year or two older that was sweet. I probably wouldn't use them too much now, but could use one to tool around the neighborhood.

check out - www.vintagebmx.com

Lots of old school pros and ams, and in fact the infamous Bob Osborn aka Oz from BMXA has recently been posting. Pretty unreal!

Hell yeah, I remember Thruster. Tim Judge was on their team for a while before Hutch. I loved the Tri-Power frames - used to see a lot at the local race track in the early '80's.

Old school is great- I mean RAD!! Geometry is lousy (now I blame my lack of skills when I was younger on bad geometry!), but the era was fun. I still have my acid sketched Hutch Trickstar with Lavender tires, Lavender cables and lavender Nippon brakes (which never really worked)! I Worked as a dishwasher at 14 for that bike- lost the girlfriend from working weekends back then, but I saved the bike! (Girlfriend story is true and I had to add it to offset the Lavender thing)

Yeah. OS bmx is sweet. My roots run WAAY deep. I sold it all, bought it all back on E Bay and Vintage bmx.com, then sold it all again! Collecting isn't really for me, I like to break shit. Smile
