the only Jay-Z i've taken a liking to is the Grey Album. i've heard the Black Album, and ugh. so i figured i'd at least have an interest in this "Collision Course" since it was the combo of 2 artists. i don't like Linkin Park, though.
has anyone heard this cd yet? is it worth giving a listening to?

There is SO much good music out right now. I'd look a little harder.

yeah i got it once it came out, and i like it alot actualy. i dont think too highly of linkin park usualy, or late Jay-z... but that mix works, at least for me.
i'm sure many will talk shit about, but thats more then likely because they wouldnt listen to shit like that anyway, so i dont even know why they would even comment.
it would be like me commenting on some super groovy rock~n~roll.
and try Reasonable Doubt, Jay-Zs first album... u'll like it for a fact.

dude, Linkin Park totally rules. When they broke up it was so they could "go out on top."
Their pants are bigger than most other bands' pants, which means they're better. Duh.

yea it is actually pretty good. some of the songs really sound good together. my favorite would have to be numb/encore.

I hate Jay Z so much its ridiculous...I hate his voice, his lyrics, his flow and his attitude.
Linkin Park = made 50 commercial songs that all sound identical. I do however think the singer has a good voice.

i petty much hate Jay-Z, but the black album is pretty f**king good. Its totally commercial..but its still good.
i dont like the mix. i dont like any fusing of metal and hip-hop. it all sucks.

ok, well i downloaded it. i like 2 songs. Big Pimpin' (takes me back to my happy place) and 99 Problems (takes me back to Whistler and Vancouver....er, my happier places).
i think the mixing of 99 Problems and whatever Linkin Park song is pretty clean. perhaps best of the album. the rock-ish background sounds better than the Black Album version of the song. you can even twist the meaning of the lyrics to work together. for the most part, at least.
Encore was bad.
in the end, i don't think i'm gonna buy it. i also downloaded the lyrics-only version of the Black Album. that's pretty damn cool.

I think that the only good that could come from this album is that if someone told me I had to listen to a jay-z album and a Linkin Park album I could listen to this and only have to endure them for half the length of time. In the unlikely event of this happening, I will be very happy that this album was created.
