I know it may sound generic, but "The Wall" has always been my favorite.
I watch at least once a year, beginning to end.
Good shit.

I've only seen the newer Suburbia, and it's alright, but the soundtrack by Sonic Youth is TOTALLY KICKIN YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Actually, Valley Girl is a good movie. Nicholas Cage's character was classic.

I forgot to mention Ween Live in Chicago. That's excellent.
I just got the Matador at 15 w/ DVD set. 13 bucks! I might check that out before I go to bed. (also picked up Metal Fingers presents Special Herbs 7,8 and Ween's The Pod).
Narlus, what's the Joy Division/New Order movie called? I keep meaning to check it out, but keep forgetting the name.

do you mean 24hr party people? it was more of a factory/manchester scene movie, i think, althoguh i haven't seen it. gotta put that one in the netflix cue.
i liked the matador DVD. the jicks vid was hilarious. and the blues explosion song was pretty damn good (and it's always nice to see christina, grrrrwwwllll).
the mogwai vid was strange.
the DVD i wanna get next is the Warp records one. anyone see that?

That's what I'm thinking of. I'd like to see that.
I haven't watched the Matador DVD yet. The Metal Fingers presents Special Herbs 7 & 8 was the real score of the night.

they do "stanley kubrick", w/ a pioneer flair. it's on the Matador 15th anniversary set (2 cds and a DVD), which is worth getting. it's only like $16 or so. the emails from gerard cosloy are freakin' hysterical. i'm on a music listserv which he;s on, but he doesn't post much anymore. his posts, though, were always damn funny and caustic. anyone ever read his old zine, _Conflict_? he did that before starting Homestead records. good stuff.

Watched the DVD disc last night. That Mogwai video IS odd.
I love the Bardo track off that disc. I don't own Dilate.
