you can't find one on ebay? i bought mine close to 2 years ago for something like $425. it's a great camera, i've been very happy w/ it but want to start exploring a bit more past the AUTO function.

Yeah I just want a point and shoot camera and the G2 fits the bill. I already have a "good" camera so just want something easy to carry around rather than lugging my D70 and setup.

we have a g5, used to have a g2, the av setting works good, try your aperature at 2.0 or as low as it will go, thats when it worked best for me.
