Anyone else think these guys rule? And anyone else REALLY REALLY happy that they're back doing shows?

It seems that every band that Greg Hetson is in just has to rule. Redd Kross (well, the first EP), Circle Jerks, Bad Religion. He's the man.

This is a fairly pointless thread. Sorry.

I don't have Group Sex yet, just got Wild In The Streets the other day (they've always been high on my "to get" list, but usually get pushed aside by something else) and it's pretty damn good. I think I'll get groupsex next time I'm at the record store, if they've got it.

Yeah, Black Flag with Keith was really good too.

LOL! I downloaded the first Redd Kross EP last night (I somehow doubt I'd be able to find it) and it's 6min 20sec long. 6 songs. Wicked.

You should pick up the book :Get In the Van- On the Road with Black Flag. It's a journal by Rollins with some *great* photos. Those guys put up with some serious shit!

Edit: There is some good Ian Mackaye content too. That's back when he was in Minor Threat. Every time I put a Fugazi album in, I can't believe it's Ian Mackaye. Oh yeah....Fugazi's "Steady Diet of Nothing" is one of my favorite albums...I need to re-buy it though; It's scratched like crazy.

I'll keep that on my mental list. Next up to read is Mat Hoffman's autobiography.
