I def. recommend giving this place a go, it's good fun for sure, and there is new stuff popping up all summer. These are from opening weekend, I thought the trails were alot of fun and will only improve...

Western Side of the mtn offers the Dh coarses, much more elevation much longer runs/faster etc....
the Eastern Side is serviced by a lift and runs are about half as long and there are quite a few trails spidering down, much more north shore influenced.......
also a mtnx coarse with good sized gaps.....

are they going to continue building through out the summer? Is there any chance of any other DH races there during the summer? (besides this past weekends national event)

all in all there is probably about 20 stunts up there right now, but the trails are what most talk about, they are really techy....
they have ordered more wood to build with and plan to have 20 open trails by the end of the summer. so probably well over 50 stunts I'm sure......

yup if you call, they have some places, I believe it's spruce lodge that's like 70-80 bucks a night, supposedly ok, but not that nice.......
we stayed at Rimfire in a studio deally and it was dope 130 a night? something like that....
That stuff is all good and well when it is dry...but when it rained the day before Snowshoe turns into a total mudbath. If you can make it up during a dry week, it's def worth it, but otherwise don't waste you time.

i went there, and it poured for an entire day, and it is muddy, that place doesn't drain well period, and since theres a good amount of off camber, that rain does not help, they needa work on draining that place
