Hcor.net Forum Index -> Whistler & B.C. -> whistler info       View previous topic :: View next topic  whistler info Posted: Fri Mar 12, 2004 12:59 pm rixpi Burner   Joined: Jan 27, 2004 Posts: 438 Location: Mount Carmel, Pa I am trying to plan a trip to whistler . is mid june too soon to go (weather wise) any suggestions on accomidations, somthing close, clean ,but inexpensive. is it a hassle to bring my own ride.? i already ride a kona, but being short and fat i need stiffer springs and such. will the rentals custom tune? do i really need to rent a car or is everything close enough to just take an airport shuttle. i am planning on treating my entire shop to the trip ,and good information will be appreciated. thanks, Rick

FlipFantasia Burner   Joined: Sep 6, 2002 Posts: 391 Location: Whistler BC full day rentals are like 120 a day, bring your own rig unless you want so shell out mucho denero....there's a few hostels that are a lot cheaper than hotels....if you're coming with people it's probably worth it to rent a condo.......there's a few airport shuttles, but the busses are pretty spendy, with a car you could hit up the shore, squampton and pemby too, all of which offer killer terrain...the park is great but the local trails are killer.... _________________ www.dropmachine.com
