I didn't vote because this is retarded, why not buy what is cheaper?
They are cranks designed for freeride/dh/whatever. If you break them it just means that you suck, and you should not only have your parents buy your bike parts but also pay for a mechanic to put them on your bike.

Ummm your joking right? let me just say this. Tight shirts, girls pants, and pink.

OK, part fashion whores Although thats not fashion its 'style' - although when 90% aof the people around you look the same, it isnt really very stylish.

How about you post a link to the article, I don't see anything in the archieves regarding cranks.
I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it.

BMX style cranks are hella easy to install. Just make a press out of two pieces of 2x4, a nut and bolt and 2 fender washers. No chasing or facing or any of that bullshit that should be done by the manufacturer.

And then you strip the threads out and smoke berings left a right. Facing takes 30 seconds with a file and a bike shop will usually chase the threads for free. Do it right.

f**k you. Pink is hot. Tight shirts and girl pants, however, are not.

When it boils down to it youre getting something generic. Get something with self extracting bolts, like the Federals.

Deity - plain and simple. When a guy as cool as Eric runs a bike company with high quality parts, you support your homeboy. people and companies such as Eric & Diety are about as common in the bike industry as Palm trees in Alaska.
Be careful how you treat others, for you may develop a bad rash.

Eric is a nice guy, but on the other hand the people at profile whenever I have needed to talk to them are nice too. A fellow rider picks up the phone the first time you call, and they send out what you need pronto.

I like whatever cranks come stock on my bike...
My last rig had Holzfellers, they were awesome.
My new rig comes with Diabolus X-type crank/bb.
I hope I like them.
Metallica sucks.

Agreed,

I'v worked in all types of sales and retail and never come in contact with such a real person in any industry such as Eric. When you call Diety to order your first parts you start as a customer and by the time your done your left knowing that your now part of a family, so now when I see someone running any Deity parts I walk up to them and and say wuzup cuz I know thay hand the same great experience dealing with Diety as I had. So not only am I happy cuz I made the best choice in bike parts but also the type person I chose to deal with.

By the way, I run Deity Bars, Stem, Seat Clamp,Cranks and sprocket, and put a ass wupin on all my parts with to probs, at all.

Now there you go. That is a perfect reason. And all BS aside, I would like a full Deity setup on my street bike when I complete it. All pwder black tho not the white I see everywhere. If Santa Cruz could just powdercoat their frames that well I would be set.

Yes - Deity is definitely a good company - and from my experience are seem to be as good as Profile - and that's F'in good.

The American way: Pick a side, regardless of justifation or legitimacy and stick to it no matter how illogical or mindless.
