Would all you naysayers be willing to give GES one more chance? Mr Todd has been totally overwhelmed with work lately. He is sending me all the results (which he does have, btw) I will have things re-tabulated by Friday hopefully, and Fraser is able to update the website, but he has not had any info...

Mt Snow is a bad place to ride DH bikes. Kllington on the other hand, is a tiny bit better. I would go to Killington then Jiminy if you want to ride in southern vt/berkshires Really?! Their claim to fame is that the Norba DH events are held there. Are you saying it is bad because the trails suck? t...

Hmm. That Super D course looked badass last year. I think I might just race Slalom and Super D. One bike, more room for other people's bikes in the truck.

Race entries are not actually down, it is just that people are doing more less-competive events, like 24 hour racing, Americans that are so fond of "winning" I think it hurts their egos a little bit less to do participation events instead of competitive events. Lots of little classes is really a pai...

Because whitetail isn't having any biking there this year, "Wisp" is spelled wrong...if they were serious they'd at least know how to spell the venues properly.

Tentative is the key word here.

It is Legit. If good old Seplavy can't spell don't hold that against him!

This thread is getting stupid. It is mountainbike racing. Since DAY ONE there has been prize parity, and there always should be. It's tenet of the sport. Good purses bring out good riders. Snowshoe got Giove out of retirement last year to do some local racing....

The biggest thing I noticed with fogging was changing from a d2 to a moto helmet. My 661 moto helmet is better ventilated enough, and slightly larger in the chin, and that has eliminated fogging problems for me. I can even hike uphill if need be with the goggles on.

ever seen a bmx street/park rider with clips? Actually, I remember seeing a picture in an old issue of BMX Plus, or maybe it was Snap! in probably 1998 or 1999 of a kid blasting a 1 footed table out of a huge cement hip, clipped in with mismatched pedals on a Mountaincycles Aftershock 20" race bike...
